At Mary's House

We are a VA-Licensed Medical Foster Home which has been servicing the Gainesville area for over 10 years. We have created a unique concept at Mary’s House, where seniors can enjoy the benefits of living in a real home, surrounded by a caring and dedicated family. Our Story

Mary’s House began over 20 years ago with what would become our first resident. While getting her CNA license after migrating to this country with her son, Hena was contracted as a live-in caregiver for a blind and elderly woman named Mary. A couple years went by and as Hena looked to relocate due to the unaffordability of living in Miami, Mary pleaded to come with Hena and her son as they had all become family. Eventually Hena’s own mother, Mary-Ann, moved in as her age progressed and health deteriorated. It is in honor of their memory that we continued to carry the name “Mary’s House” as we provide the best service we possibly can to our residents and celebrate them like family.
